Campus No. 805 is a unique place. Sitting just to the south of Downtown Huntsville, the sprawling entertainment complex occupies what was once Stone Middle School. Instead of trying to bury the location’s past under modern furnishings and high-end treatments, 805 embraces the location’s history. Lockers line the hallways and serve as a false door for a hidden speakeasy. The gym houses a brewery. Even the name pays homage to it’s past.
I recently had the privilege of working with Campus No. 805 to redesign and redevelop their website. Taking their established branding, I crafted designs that drew inspiration from year book layouts, using elements of art-deco and bold typography to create a striking yet elegant final product.
