Method is a base theme designed to facilitate custom theme-building at an accelerated pace, without sacrificing code efficiency or site performance. The theme uses the Bootstrap 5 framework as the foundation for building the frontend, while using the CMB2 framework on the backend to provide a workflow for programmatically creating and configuring custom editors. Continued development made possible thanks to code contributions from The Bold Agency.
This project allows you to rapidly create custom builds of the Method theme using Gulp and Nunjucks. Configurable options include code prefixes, namespaces, registered images sizes and menu locations, and much, much more. This plugin adds a new CMB2 fieldtype for a Mapbox map field. Using this field, you can drop a pin on the field’s map to have the longitude and latitude for that pin stored. Also included is a php class for building advanced Mapbox-powered maps on the frontend of your site. This plugin requires CMB2 and a Mapbox access token.
This plugin extends CMB2 by adding a new fieldtype for Google Maps, which allows the user to drop a pin, draw a polygon or ellipse, and draw a polyline, which can optionally be automatically snapped to segments of roadway using Google’s snap-to-road API. Also included is a php class for building advanced maps on the frontend, with support for filters, off-map interactivity, and more.
This plugin implements a system for displaying alerts on specific pages or posts, loading alerts through the browser to keep performance impact low. This plugin requires CMB2 and a theme built with Bootstrap 5 (or Bootstrap’s CSS for the ‘.alert’ class and applicable modifier classes).
This plugin adds filterable galleries to WordPress, called via shortcode. It also adds a taxonomy for categorizing media items (used for filtering), and adds additional options to the built-in media overlay. Galleries can be displayed as a grid, or as a Swiper carousel. CMB2 and a Bootstrap 5 theme are required.
